Dr. Dai is an Associate Professor of Operations Management and Business Analytics at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, with joint faculty appointments at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and Institute for Data-Intensive Engineering and Science. He joined Carey in 2013 after receiving a PhD in Operations Management/Robotics from Carnegie Mellon. His research interests span across healthcare, marketing-operations interfaces, and human-AI interaction.
In her role as Public Health Director, Monica leads the development of the Fishers Health Department. Since April 24, 2020, the Fishers Health Department has, in parallel, launched Hamilton County’s first dedicated, free COVID-19 testing center in addition to traditional health department services to support Fishers residents. Heltz has two decades of public health experience, with experience in environmental health, tuberculosis, immunizations, home visiting, and sexually transmitted infections.
Douglas possesses more than 20 years of experience in emergency management, healthcare disaster planning and response, customer success and technology. He has led customer service and product management teams for emergency response technology solutions assisting dozens of states, counties and local jurisdictions. Most recently, he supported the State of Florida with COVID-19 and hurricane co-planning.
